Recent research reveals that many women do not expect to continue to work full time throughout their career, even including those with University qualifications. You guessed it, this is because of the commitments required during child rearing. Bringing up children and working full time is simply too demanding and our work culture only supplies high value jobs as full time jobs so women get squeezed out of the career promotion ladder as their child rearing demands increase.
